Why can't one dance <br />as the sun fades away <br />Bringing the beauty of night <br />as the moon begins to sway <br />All the fears and worries <br />fading in the light of the moon <br />Joy pouring from our hearts <br />as our spirit He begins to swoon <br />It leaves us free <br />free from all that troubles us <br />Bringing back our initial joy <br />from when we first found Jesus <br />Why do we need beauty <br />to connect us with our past <br />When He is always inside <br />but our mind it somehow does surpass <br />Can't we dance <br />so that others will see <br />Leaving them bewildered <br />with our joy's simplicity <br />Holy our heart is <br />in His sight <br />But when the world hits <br />so fades our light <br />Our one perfect truth <br />leaves our mind <br />as we search to find <br />something to make us whole <br />leaving us feeling refined <br />This day may be vague <br />existing only in our dreams <br />But must we wait to start this dance <br />until we see Heaven's beams<br /><br />Trevor Schulte<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dancing-for-more/
