The purple eye of the dragon, <br />Streaked red, yellow, twitches <br />Back and forth over the morning. <br />Dark mists, darker land... <br /> <br />It looks, malevolently, for any <br />Obstacles of Night lingering. <br />One scaled arm emerges, <br />Claws into the fog. A long body <br /> <br />Slithers through grey cloud banks, <br />And it roars triumphant. Trees <br />Hushed, wings fly, dogs lay <br />Curled.
