Deprived of everything around. <br />Indifferent when one makes a sound. <br />I walked in emptiness-shattered and lonely. <br />He pretended to be my one and only. <br /> <br />Because he's made me sob and weep, <br />I've got nothing else of life to keep. <br />Lay in bed and walk through the night, <br />Thinking to myself that nothing is alright. <br /> <br />He would just leave me there <br />And never say he cared. <br />Or even just stay there for a while <br />Until my small time is up for the mile. <br /> <br />Like grains of sand, <br />We're individual. <br />But he's the only one <br />That's made me give my all. <br />I've failed at it- <br />Falling into a small dark pit- <br />In between these walls- <br />They don't seem to want to stop from cruching me. <br /> <br />And so I scream.<br /><br />heroine bard<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/one-and-only-11/
