To people for human rights in China free speech is denied <br />And people in jails there for their rights have died <br />Where thousands of innocent people are in jails serving long periods of time <br />For speaking their minds though that of course not a crime. <br /> <br />In many Countries minorities they persecute <br />Where in God and religion there only is one truth <br />Where the majority religion with disregard for others rule <br />Some people in their ignorance are cruel. <br /> <br />Even in so called free Western Countries human rights are abused <br />And people of crimes are wrongfully accused <br />And people's basic rights are eroded every day <br />And only for the very wealthy there's fair play. <br /> <br />And those guilty of awful crimes against humanity <br />In some Countries are allowed to live free <br />Of any punishment for their sins of old age they will die <br />With power and wealth the good life they enjoy. <br /> <br />In a World of corruption and moral decay <br />The wealthy out of trouble buy their way <br />And those with the most money the shots always call <br />And there is no such a thing as a fair go for all.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/no-such-a-thing/
