Far beyond the mountains I went, <br />Into the snow where tall trees bent. <br />Glaciers rushing into the deeep gorges. <br />Tiny specks of snow glow bright and shiny. <br />Waters from the rivers play in mirth, <br />Running far from the place of their birth. <br />Cascades rising as high as they can. <br />Mountains steep down as low as they can. <br />Dried up leaves making untrodden way, <br />For me where no man can go and play. <br />The clouds kissing the mountain tops, <br />Who guide the dawn's sun till their top. <br />Deers in the way came to me, <br />To take me to place where its bright and glee. <br />I hear the elephants trumphet and the lions roar, <br />In their voices beautiful but not soar. <br />I feel the sweet scent of ther flowers rare, <br />Covered by snow allways, never bare. <br />I sought the shade of the long tal trees, <br />Holding masses of snow, engulfing incident rays. <br />A sharp breeze strck me to right, <br />Where a beautiful waterfall come into my sight. <br />I was running and running along with the deers, <br />When I heard my mother call 'Wake Up'.<br /><br />Manu Kranth Chary<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/far-beyond-the-mountains/
