I knew he'd be there waiting, <br />with open arms, so beautiful in the sun. <br />Dawn is breaking and light is overrating, <br />but still it just radiate the smile of my one. <br />He'll welcome me in, of course, <br />maybe he'll carry me for i'm so tired. <br />So weary and so is my horse, <br />we've been on a ride we haven't desired. <br />I had to know where i belong, <br />and his arms, oh, i long to them. <br />He really made me feel strong, <br />yes, i am so in love with him. <br />I had to ask the sun light, <br />if it radiates his light or is just my imagination. <br />I had to ask the moon at night, <br />if it was born of his eyes following his destination. <br />I had to make sure if he was mine, <br />i never believed that all of this love is just for me. <br />I needed a sign and much more than a sign, <br />i needed to make sure this will last till eternity. <br />Like i just seekes the comfort in those arms, <br />and before i seeked knowing if it's just all mine. <br />I needed to ask skies and lands and stars, <br />they've witnessed my love all that time.. <br />I'm walking slowly and i'm knocking his door, <br />his face is the only thing that i wish to see. <br />I couldn't stay away, i couldn't do it any more, <br />please, tell me that you've been waiting for me, <br />only me...<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/only-me-2/
