Where is the day taking us <br />In this darkish winter garden, <br />I've got all the abrasiveness <br />For the day is now to harden; <br />Like the cold comes sweet in <br />With the snow so soft in frost, <br />There's in my heart a backspin <br />From this much wintry glossed. <br /> <br />It carries me away and across <br />To some other places beyond, <br />Where lies the hidden pathos <br />Everthing warm has abscond; <br />For it never was much within me <br />To walk much and along a trail, <br />Where winter is cold frezzing free <br />And there's nothing else to avail. <br /> <br />Where is the day in this dim <br />Where I have no place to call, <br />My heart's in a whimsy whim <br />When I'm in this state to appall; <br />Bring thus away this dull cold <br />I am more for the gentle heat, <br />Nothing in coldness to behold <br />Only the frost and its deadbeat.<br /><br />Peter S.
