The illusion of dawn <br />Comes in with sleep, <br />From under night gown <br />And futures to keep; <br />All is of the new light <br />That gives you a day, <br />So you can start a flight <br />And make it your way. <br /> <br />The illusion like oceans <br />With billows and waves, <br />To bring your devotions <br />- Each of its conclaves, <br />You are to start and rise <br />Then up into your own, <br />Throw the first day dice <br />Give the color and tone. <br /> <br />The illusion is there <br />To feel in your first sight, <br />Take way or share <br />What is wrong and right; <br />All is for its intention <br />- Quite differently across, <br />Comes to apprehension <br />When the dices you toss.<br /><br />Peter S.
