Remembering autumn <br />That evening blooming song, <br />With daydreams desideratum <br />Where lost longings belong; <br />Remembering the dreams <br />That nowhere coexisted, <br />The lonesome sunbeams <br />The coming shade twisted. <br /> <br />Remembering the days <br />Of the withering blooms, <br />Fallen leaves in alleyways <br />And what the earth resumes; <br />All shall be here forgotten <br />In the days ahead that come, <br />Summer's sweet abdications <br />For the dark winter's hum. <br /> <br />Remembering autumn <br />For leaves turned to red, <br />Lost their green freedom <br />To fall off to their dead; <br />Remembering moments <br />Your yearning came too, <br />All the scenting abundance <br />The senses could construe.<br /><br />Peter S.
