If you look on the top of houses, <br />you will find a TV Ariel there, <br />a place for little birdies to sit <br />and have their tea break. <br />Now with the boom <br />of digital technology <br />comes the satellite dish, <br />which looks like ET landed on the wall, <br />but then there is the cable. <br />Men come around and dig a hole <br />to plant the cable underground. <br />I still like the old TV Ariel, <br />unsightly it may be, <br />but at least the little birdies <br />had somewhere to stop awhile <br />and have their tea break. <br /> <br />7 February 2008<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tv-ariel-fun-poem-64/
