There are many ribbons <br />that our armed forces wear. <br />The brightest one <br />that stands out the most <br />is the scarlet ribbon <br />worn across the chest. <br />Some may call it <br />by a different name, <br />the red badge of courage, <br />but to me it is still <br />the scarlet ribbon <br />worn for all to see. <br />Sadly, most of these ribbons <br />are worn posthumously. <br /> <br />17 June 2008<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/scarlet-ribbon/
