In the dark you can hear me walk, <br />In the dark you open your eyes and freeze. <br />For you hear what walks with me. <br /> <br />I am but happily accompanied with my friend, <br />In the dark I am happily concealed and free to speak. <br />So I step into the stary night. <br /> <br />You shiver with the thought of a theif, <br />Maybe I'm froozen in fear aswel? <br />You tempted to peak in freight but stop instanlty. <br /> <br />I begin my conversation as though speaking to a friend, <br />And indeed I'm speaking to a friend. <br />Though not of this world but still a friend. <br /> <br />Speak of the stars and the moon, <br />The mysterious things of this world... and others. <br />Speak of curses and phenomena’s, <br />The ever so evil and mysteriously unkown topics. <br /> <br />Still frozen in fear you listen sinking deeper into thought, <br />Slipping deeper into your unconsciousness. <br />Until my words of wisdom and wonder are all but a murmur....<br /><br />Ashley Fortin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/whispers-in-the-dark-4/
