The tracks I leave behind are hidden <br />for future generations to find. <br />Hidden within a facade of words <br />that sprout up like new shoots <br />from this mind of mine. <br />My life is there for all to see, <br />the triumphs and the failures <br />against adversity. <br />The happiness and sadness <br />that plagues our daily lives, <br />the joyful tears and the sorrows pain. <br />They are all spelt out <br />within the words I write. <br />A little bit of me <br />inherits everything I do. <br />Therefore, if you read between the lines <br />you will find them there <br />all the tracks I leave behind.<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tracks-of-my-life/
