The end was near___ <br />His dying words were being silenced <br />by a Fascist nurse <br />who was always pulling the plug on him.... <br />He could still write <br />both prose and poetry <br />but she showed no mercy <br />and starved him from the sound <br />of his own voice___ <br />Others begged her to allow him to speak <br />for they too were thirsty <br />as thirsty as he was dehydrated <br />from the continuous denial of self expression.... <br />Alas.....there would be no appeals..... <br />Only the nurse's censorship <br />and the Doctor's certiorari of this poets <br />Right to Write <br />which resulted in his eventual death by starvation.....<br /><br />Ted Sheridan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-right-for-one-to-write/
