What do I see? <br />All around me is four walls. <br />This voice keeps sounding in my mind, <br />It seems to be me it calls. <br />I'm trapped in this room, <br />As the darkness surrounds me. <br />I'm losing the will to live, <br />I'm afraid that I will be. <br />Trapped in this prison cell, <br />For the rest of my days. <br />Madness falls in to my heart, <br />At these four walls I will always gaze. <br />It blackens my destroyed heart, <br />To know I will never be free. <br />Why can't I just escape? <br />Why can't you just see? <br />That I will never be seen again, <br />With a true smile on my face. <br />I will give into the insanity, <br />For freedom is putting up to much of a chase.<br /><br />EMMA Funnell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/four-walls-3/
