What of love? What value does one place upon love? <br /> Our souls? I think not. It is not ours to give. <br /> What will we sacrifice for it? Our lives? I think not. For <br /> to sacrifice a life is to leave empty handed. What would we <br /> give to receive it? Our inner being? I think not. <br /> For it is a gift in and of itself and can not be bought. <br /> What would we change to have it? Our very existence? I <br /> think not. Time would return us back to our former selves. <br /> Who would we manipulate to gain it? Other lives? I think <br /> not. That is beyond our grasp and would leave us with <br /> frustrated hearts.
