Yes, I cry <br />Because its easy. <br />Crying for me is a way out. <br />Eventhough I am crying about my reality. <br />Crying releases me. <br />For minutes I pretend I'm not crying <br />Not crying about my real life <br />But then reality kicks in again <br />Now I'm crying, <br />I'm crying harder, harder <br />I think about stopping but feel unable <br />I see myself crying and I feel ashamed. <br />Crying to me feels so wrong <br />I have more than others <br />Yet I still cry <br />I still have problems <br />I'm a person too. <br />Yes, I cry and it doesn't help <br />The problem don't go, <br />The sadness, its there <br />I'll never shake it off <br />So I return to the tears. <br />Sure I put on the happy, funny, smiley face <br />But underneath I'm just a little girl crying. <br />There is more pain, more pain everyday <br />I can't deal with it so <br />Yes, I cry.<br /><br />Claire Jones<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-cry-17/
