Some people they never seem to learn from life I'm one of that kind so I should know <br />And some never stop learning 'til the day they die as people they spritually grow <br />Those with depths of feeling never talk too much they learn with their ears and their eyes <br />Born with the gifts of empathy and insight they grow for to be very wise <br />Some people they have this great desire for power all others they wish to control <br />Spiritually impoverished 'til the day that they die they live with darkness of the soul <br />Yet the perfect human may not exist 'twould seem and the near perfect so hard to find <br />Perfection from pure innocence can only come and will not be found in human kind <br />Some people past mistakes they seem to repeat from history they never seem to learn <br />The ego it always seem to over-ride the power they should have to discern <br />Before they pass judgement on others and create the us against they <br />And always it is the big egos the egos that get in our way, <br />It is said from life we have been learning even before we learned how to crawl <br />But I must be quite a slow learner from life I've not learned much at all.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/some-people-they-never-seem-to-learn/
