What in the world is that approaching? <br /> <br />'That is a 'tsusami'. <br />A destructive and deadly wave.' <br /> <br />Why are you walking slowly, <br />And looking up at the sky? <br /> <br />'Feeling blessed and doing my daily exercise. <br />Enjoying nature and those beautiful sights I see, <br />Before my eyes.' <br /> <br />Aren't you afraid this 'wave' will destroy all you've got? <br /> <br />'I've witnessed that wave approaching from the horizon. <br />And I've shared that warning made to some. <br />Others stood and looked with me. <br />But their sights were distracted. <br />They preferred to have fun. <br /> <br />You know the ones who hear something said? <br />The ones who have other priorities... <br />Dancing around in their deluded heads. <br />The ones who claim they are aware... <br />But hey, <br />Who cares? <br /> <br />Economically, <br />I've been busted for years. <br />And have lived a basic life. <br />One that has provided me a peace of mind I like! <br /> <br />That tsusami there you see... <br />Will have little to none, <br />Effect on me. <br />But the others you see staring? <br />They're so stunned. <br />They can not run! <br /> <br />And besides... <br />Where will they go? <br />Into mortgaged homes on loan? <br />To grab something believed they still own? <br />As creditors await. <br />Like vultures surrounding prey, <br />For something of value to confiscate. <br /> <br />I am comfortable just where I am!
