I lost you again <br />to the sound of the wind <br />and the color of the sky <br />as you run by <br />without so much as a glance. <br /> <br />And I let you go <br />through the dark and the snow <br />through your thoughts and dreams <br />as strange as it seems <br />hoping you will return. <br /> <br />But when all seems gray <br />at the end of the day <br />I see your wonderful smile <br />and hope for awhile <br />that I might get to keep it. <br /> <br />Then in the dark of the night <br />while I hold you tight <br />and whisper 'love me still?
