O Lord dear God I’m so distressed <br />Trouble and strife abound <br />And though I try I’m so depressed <br />For no way out I’ve found <br /> <br />My very thoughts transformed in prayer <br />My knees began to bow <br />“O Lord dear God if Your are there <br />Please come and help me now” <br /> <br />Arriving deep inside my soul <br />Love ventured as a flame <br />Bringing me peace making me whole <br />Purging me free of shame <br /> <br />O Lord dear God can this be You? <br />My body feels so strange <br />Could this for me be something new? <br />Is life’s about to change? <br /> <br />Immediately I felt aglow <br />The loss of wanton of sin <br />The tingling touch of Heaven’s flow <br />The burning Truth within <br /> <br />Then all at once I felt the rain <br />Salvation on the wing <br />Ridding the doubt healing the pain <br />Raising my voice to sing <br /> <br />I couldn’t hold it anymore <br />Trembling in a daze <br />Feeling the love of Jesus pour <br />My heart could only praise <br /> <br />The news with friends I longed to share <br />The world I want to tell <br />God’s grace God’s love God’s tender care <br />Has saved my soul from hell<br /><br />Michael P.
