Fall, I think, <br /> is the best time of the year. <br />When the leaves change colors. <br /> and the wind really starts to blow. <br /> <br />There is a certain peace <br /> that gently falls. <br />But it also brings a sadness; <br /> sad that every living thing will be hanging. <br /> <br />I think it makes us stop <br /> and look around at the beauty. <br />Before then we saw, <br /> but was too busy to appreciate. <br /> <br />I love to go by myself; <br /> to stop and watch the world around me. <br />Because I know it will not always <br /> stay as it is now. <br /> <br />Everything changes every minute of every day. <br /> We are usually too busy to notice or care. <br />I hope I am never too busy to go outside <br /> and realize how everything has changed.<br /><br />Connie Leigh Lindsay<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fall-76/
