I feel reborn, <br />I feel so renewed, <br />For one day I got up, <br />And my blues had gone away, <br /> <br />I thank God for my family, <br />I thank God for allowing me, <br />To go through the motions, <br />And come out feeling triumphant and free, <br /> <br />So, in this new beginning I feel, <br />I give thanks to my Saviour, <br />And give thanks to my family, <br />That understood me, <br />Even when I was in such a haze, <br />They were there when I came out of, <br />The haze and cloudy days, <br /> <br />It's good to be me, <br />I leave the blues behind, <br />Yet, <br />Keep my poems in record, <br />That I wrote when feeling blue, <br />To put them out there with the rest, <br />Just like this one, <br />Titled, <br />I feel anew, <br />With a lot to smile about,<br /><br />Ellen Ni Bheachain<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-feel-anew/
