As it was and expected, <br />In days prolonged... <br />When people rejected what for them, <br />Had either been right or wrong... <br />And choosing with druthers to judge others, <br />With a familiarity accepted to invite... <br />Overnight. <br />Limiting insights have suddenly changed. <br /> <br />And many wishing things to remain the same, <br />Have discovered others to have those priorities tossed. <br /> <br />Confusion and conflicts in minds that sit, <br />Are finding few sympathetic. <br />For them common sense has become a benefit. <br />As they awaken to embrace a higher consciousness. <br />Overnight. <br />Limiting insights have suddenly changed. <br /> <br />And with a tight grip on nostalgia, <br />Reminisced slipping away. <br />And distancing themselves from others who insist, <br />They have chosen this! <br />But 'something' has connected and they can not stay. <br /> <br />And... <br />Like a shaking quake, <br />Coming unexpectedly to split the Earth... <br />Many are finding for them it is worthless, <br />To confine their minds, <br />Within times that have moved on. <br />Yesterdays have gone. <br />And excuses made have been replaced. <br /> <br />A world without end. <br />With a changing to do over and over and over again, <br />For 'some' and not the many to witness. <br />An attempt to prevent change, <br />Presents its dire consequences.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
