Intertwined, Separated. <br /> <br />Years had gone by, <br />Before you and I <br />Came face to face <br />At the destined time, <br />At the destined place. <br /> <br />I had no void in my life - <br />No space for you to fill. <br />But you wouldn't rest, <br />Would you, until <br />You could be sure <br />That you are <br />Important to me? <br /> <br />Yet it would've been best, <br />If you would've stayed <br />An acquaintance to me. <br /> <br />For now you leave a void <br />As you leave my life <br />For reasons not known to me. <br />Yet all is justified, <br />Because I too had lied <br />To you once... <br /> <br />When I'd told you... <br />'Do you think it'll make a difference if you're not there!
