Still like day one….. <br />I think of you and still feel shy, <br />I still get Goosebumps when you look at me, <br />Everyday I cant wait to see your smile in the morning, <br />And every night I still get sad when I have to sleep. <br /> <br />You make me laugh everyday when I know how hard that is, <br />You still cant stand to see me upset, <br />You’d rather lose an arm than see me not smile, <br />Everyday I feel blessed this man loves me this much. <br /> <br />I love the way I have never felt worthy of him, <br />I still feel I’ll wake up one day, but pray I’ll never, <br />I could never have a more loyal friend, never have a more <br />Loving husband, nor have a more perfect man for me. <br /> <br />I’ve seen how much his love has grown deeper with everyday that passes, <br />And my heart feels like it will spill over with love, <br />I don’t care what people think of our love, <br />Just like I never when we first met, <br />And what I love about him more than anything is… <br />He has never given up, he keeps trying with me always, <br />I can see everyday hed go to hell before he ever let me go. <br /> <br />And that makes me feel safer than ive ever felt in my life, <br />And the man that agreed to be my husband made me feel that, <br />I cant thank him enough for how hes changed my life, <br />But I hope he always knows it. <br /> <br />I love him with all my heart today, tomorrow and always, <br />Just like I did on that day one.<br /><br />joanne fenner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/like-day-one/
