It doesn't look like much,
when I look out the window,
but, when I look at my car,
it is 7 inches deeper, so far!

My car looks nice and white,
but, it is losing all it's shape,
the designer would be mortified,
to see it in the snow!

It is just a big white blob out there,
and by late this afternoon...
it will be doing well to even,
be a feature of the landscape!

Those Westerlies add new shapes to it,
and then the Easterlies refine them,
By the time those Northerlies get here,
... my poor car is almost gone!

So, how come that silly rabbit is huddled by my door?
there is a void that the winds have left there,
I somehow understand...
but, shouldn't it be in a hole somewhere?
- - - all hunkered down ' till spring ?

Is it that tiny bit of heat that still escapes,
- - - OR like people...
... can rabbits go insane too?

Barry Van Allen

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/silly-wabbit/
