Attacked! <br />He sought shelter in silence. <br />Angered. <br />They could not locate, <br />Another word of his to deny! <br />Accustomed to disagree... <br />With anyone who came to rescue them. <br />They grew weak and mentally unnourished. <br />And when left alone, <br />They realized... <br />He who came to speak, <br />Spoke and did not joke or entertain their whims. <br />They missed beating him with collective ignorance. <br />And he who they chased away... <br />Did not miss one meal he chose to eat alone! <br />He wanted to share, <br />The variety of life... <br />And the spices he discovered; enjoyed and liked!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
