When Beauty is joyful, life flourishes <br />When Beauty weeps, <br />The world weeps with her. <br /> But as beauty sits alone in the corner, <br />Away from it all, <br />We cannot help but feel her pain. <br /> She needs to know she has an impact on everyone around her. <br />An impact she cannot begin to comprehend. <br /> And we can only hope that beauty understands how there are those there for her, for all time and through it all. <br /> Flings and loves will fade with time, <br />But her friends will remain. <br />She tries to hide the emotions ravaging her soul, <br />But we, the ones who know her, can see them clearly. <br /> And when she wonders whether it is worth it all, <br />She only need ask, <br />And she will be told, without beauty, sweet beauty, <br /> Life itself, would simply not be worth living.<br /><br />Clemens Pahina<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/beauty-84/
