Have you ever stood in a room all by yourself <br />And couldn't help but feel someone else's presence? <br />That their shallow breath is breathing down your neck <br />And the immortal chill coming from thier body <br />Freezes you in a remote panic <br />And all of a sudden you feel anger and rage within yourself <br />For thinking of something you know can not be true <br />Or is it just a figure of your imagination? <br />Then you get mad for thinking up of something so real that your body can feel it's ever-dieing presence <br />But then a strange thing happens <br />You become naturally unafraid <br />You sense the spirit within you and are incapassitated for that one quick secondto realize it's real <br />That is when it goes away and you become unafraid of the unknown<br /><br />Cheyenne Ashley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/scared-23/
