Every now and then I think about how you treat me, <br />I slowly came to see that this isn't how things should be. <br />I gave you all my love and was always there for you, <br />Not caring about how I felt, you did whatever you wanted to. <br />Knowing that you've been cheating on me I was still there, <br />Eventhough you make me feel like you don't care. <br />You took all my emotions leaving me bereft, <br />So I packed my stuff and left. <br />Then I started missing and needing you, <br />Coming back was what I needed to do. <br />I thought that for me you would change your ways, <br />Still you continue what you do but still I stay. <br />Because I love you so much, <br />I would do anything just to feel your touch. <br />For however long it takes I will take what you put me through, <br />How long I will have to deal I have no clue. <br />Maybe I'm a fool for putting up with evrything, <br />But not havine you is worse then a sting. <br />So I'm going to stick with what I know, <br />For the people wondering how I'm doing i put on a show. <br />Making them believe that everything is okay, <br />Never letting them know that it kills me by the end of the day. <br />No matter what happens I will keep me head held high, <br />Because deep in my heart I know there is no goodbye.<br /><br />erica wood<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/foolish-6/
