No one knows, what a child goes through <br />the heartache and pain, and the bruises too <br />there cries for help, go unheard and they take the pain <br />without a word, no one knows the pain and suffering <br />and all the torture, and lack of food <br />locked out of the world, that we were brought into <br />it's not our fault, we did nothing wrong <br />brought into a world, where we didn't belong <br />it's sad to think of the abuse we shared, lived with people who never cared, i wondered at times if God loved me, and if he did <br />why couldn't i go free, to have a father and mother <br />who loved and cared for each other, who would treat me like a son, <br />and give me a loving home and make me feel welcome, <br />but that was a dream that never came true, some of us get lucky <br />some of us don't, some of us make it <br />some of us won't, i sit and think of all i been through <br />and it breaks my heart knowing so many abused kids out there, need me and you.<br /><br />Tracy Rollings<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/what-we-go-through-child-abuse/
