I've pondered the purpose of life...ALOT. <br />I thought that if there was a purpose I could accept and see and touch <br />I might not kill myself <br /> <br />I've wasted many years wondering my purpose <br />And constantly hugging death <br />The answer never came until I decided I wanted to live <br />Our purpose is life. <br />So what is life you ask <br />This is what I think life is. <br /> <br />To experience ourselves through body and soul <br />To see amazing things and tragic things. To forgive. <br />To feel happiness and joy and pain and sorrow <br />Without one you really don't know the other <br />To serve...yourself, your family, your friends, your community...through your work, committment, caring and above all your LOVE. <br /> <br />Love is powerful, it makes all the difference...to those close to you and those who are strangers to you <br />Love has no limits, it is freeing.. <br /> <br />I believe that LOVE is the main purpose and everything else will fall into place...that thing called life.<br /><br />Ivanna Halliday<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-purpose-2/
