I’ve dreamnt of you a thousand times, <br />Flown with you through blue and starry skies <br />Landing upon a mountain high, only to awake <br />From my dreaming questioning why <br /> <br />The darkest clouds im hiding in <br />Are lost along with me, within my sinful skin. <br />Blueprint misery hidden within scar strained tissue <br />As it breaks the bridges I need with which to reach you <br /> <br />Everyone’s ringside watching me fight this woe <br />Round by round and blow by blow <br />The final round is coming but I see no end, no rainbow <br />Im on my knees and finally around me the crowd it screams <br /> <br />Compare me if you will, to a circus top or Ferris wheel <br />Ignore it yes and go by detail, <br />Read between the lines and page, <br />You’ll find the lies muddied stage, <br /> <br />It keeps the pain alive and my heart encaged <br /> <br />I saw you here and I loved you there <br />Where the birds sing and with petals in your hair <br />Your blue eyes are diamonds with a loving stare <br />Exploded my heart with love care <br /> <br />Now I sit alone and not at ease <br />No-one beside me except the breeze <br />Which whispers your name and release’s my tears. <br /> <br />Wishing for one more moment with you <br />To become lost within your eyes so blue<br /><br />Daniel Richards<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/continual-loss/
