The Centennial Historical Theater was here <br />And what a grand time we all had <br />The folks from Spanish Cove joined in <br />And you know, their acting wasn’t too bad <br /> <br />The drama unfolded right before our eyes <br />It was an interesting and entertaining play <br />It told how the German’s settled in Oklahoma <br />How they loved it and decided to stay <br /> <br />It was certainly a lesson for all of us <br />I’m sure it is in the history books <br />It was like that book was opened wide <br />And inside was a rare and wonderful look <br /> <br />Perhaps we’ll get to see them again <br />These talented actors from the theatre <br />It was the very exciting and informative to see <br />They certainly had an artistic creator!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-centennial-party/
