I take out a photo of Grandma <br />Taken a long time ago <br />I feel the tears flood my eyes <br />Because I’ve loved her so <br /> <br />I have so many memories <br />That I’ll keep the rest of my days <br />I touch the brown and worn photo <br />Smile at the memories that stay <br /> <br />As a child she was someone I could count on <br />To be at her home where I went <br />Her loving arms would surround me <br />At the farm where time with her was spent <br /> <br />Because of family photos <br />The past is here with me now <br />Even though she’s not in the present <br />I feel close to Grandma anyhow!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pictures-of-grandma/
