Sometimes we think tomorrow <br />Will be no better than today <br />Bogged down in so many worries <br />It’s more than we can say <br /> <br />We’re not happy with anything <br />That we do or folks we know <br />We feel that no one seems to care <br />We feel we’ve hit a newfound low <br /> <br />Family members are too busy <br />In their own trials and tribulations <br />They rarely call us on the phone <br />Always have some stipulations <br /> <br />But we really must forgive them <br />We don’t know just what they face <br />For they may battle their own demons <br />We all do many things in haste <br /> <br />We must not look for happiness <br />Inside someone other than us <br />And tomorrow is a brand new day <br />For ourselves we can make a fuss <br /> <br />So when nothing seems worth living <br />When we are drenched in deep sorrow <br />Look forward to a brand new day <br />Because there is always tomorrow<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/always-tomorrow-3/
