Do you ever spend a relaxing time <br />Strolling around the State Fair? <br />You can easily take the entire day <br />So many fun things to see there <br /> <br />Cows with wet friendly noses <br />I even saw Camels one time <br />Kids showing off their animals <br />Many wonderful special kinds <br /> <br />Impressive Texas Longhorns <br />Why I saw some a few years ago <br />Lifting their proud handsome heads <br />Moms even had their babies in tow <br /> <br />And of course you have to eat <br />Delicious and wonderful food <br />Concession stands are everywhere <br />That put you in the eatin’ mood <br /> <br />It won’t be long now, you know <br />So even if you’re always on the run <br />You must mark it on your calendar <br />To take time out for State Fair fun!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/state-fair-fun/
