Don’t you find it’s such a thrill <br />Driving around on Christmas night? <br />The lights, the sounds, the feeling <br />That comes with the Christmas sights <br /> <br />Homes all lit up for the holiday <br />With brilliant lights around <br />And if you listen very close <br />You’ll hear a tinkling sound <br /> <br />Lights will show how Santa <br />Never seems to tire <br />He’s fishing in a little boat <br />Or reading beside the fire <br /> <br />Where does he find that energy? <br />We all may want to know <br />It’s because the Christmas season <br />Gives life such a loving glow <br /> <br />Little children are in such awe <br />Of the sights on that special night <br />All wide-eyed and watching <br />‘Cause the lights are so very bright <br /> <br />But, you know, there is a special place <br />That you just might want to see <br />And that is Red Rock Canyon <br />All decked out for you and for me!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-red-rock-christmas/
