As I look way back in time <br />Such memories come to me <br />Like scenes from a movie <br />I see my life within my family <br /> <br />Children romping like puppies <br />In the snow about knee deep <br />I love those snow memories <br />They are treasures that I keep <br /> <br />My parents did their very best <br />To keep us clothed and fed <br />We said our prayers every night <br />Before we went to bed <br /> <br />Grandma and Grandpa I can see <br />As plain as if it were today <br />I loved to spend time at their home <br />Sometimes I’d even stay <br /> <br />Oh yes, out in the country farm <br />Was a pleasant time for me <br />And now, so many years later <br />I treasure those childhood memories!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/childhood-memories-10/
