I’ve always loved the Buffalo <br />Out on the open plains <br />Nothing in the world compares <br />Majestic animals they’ll remain <br /> <br />Of course, there are special places <br />Where the Buffalo still roam <br />Like Yellowstone for instance <br />Many still call it their home <br /> <br />Their lovely massive heads <br />Are so handsome, wouldn’t you say? <br />And there’s nothing quite like <br />Watching their babies romp at play <br /> <br />But then there are other Buffalo <br />Oh, you should see how pretty <br />Of every color you can imagine <br />Statues that roam through the city <br /> <br />Yes, one of my favorite animals <br />Not so many around now it seems <br />But they are right at the top of my list <br />I’ll always have Buffalo Dreams!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/buffalo-dreams/
