Last winter we had lots of snow <br />And our share of rainy days <br />Our world was cold and damp <br />But I knew it wouldn’t stay that way <br /> <br />I enjoyed the spring so very much <br />New buds of leaves and flowers <br />I didn’t mind at all that we had <br />The moisture of gentle showers <br /> <br />Summer came on blazing hot <br />Too hot at times for me <br />I enjoyed all the green foliage and <br />Bright flowers and bumblebees <br /> <br />But autumn is here with smells and sights <br />That make sure our life is not bland <br />There’s crunchy leaves in brilliant colors <br />Oh my, isn’t autumn grand?<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/isn-t-autumn-grand/
