When I look back on my life <br />I have so many memories <br />They flash through my mind <br />It’s astonishing to me <br /> <br />Looking back upon my childhood <br />My family unit strong <br />I never ever wondered <br />Exactly where I belonged <br /> <br />I grew up and got married <br />Had children of my own <br />And then grandkids came along <br />My life seems now on loan <br /> <br />For the sunrises and sunsets <br />Gives me time to ponder <br />What will come next for me <br />A mystery way out yonder <br /> <br />But we take it as it comes <br />As we sail a life of seas <br />Looking back it’s amazing <br />At all those memories!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/memories-118/
