Hair freshly washed
With lips of an angel
Bra tightly fastened
With modesty Enabled

She sits on a bench
Twirling her curly blonde hair
Out of nowhere comes a man, apparently disabled
Asking for directions and help with a lost cat

Without even a second thought
She leaps into the air
Poor naive little girl
No moment to spare

Out into the forest
She searches for a cat
But fears nothing
She's lived here her whole life, she doesn't even need a map

In the blink of an eye the man leaps from his chair
Indeed he can walk and has a friend hiding near
Pulled deep into the bushes
So no one can hear

Her screams do nothing
For no one is near
Poor naive little girl
THIS moment she fears

Not another smile will her lips see
Her once wide eyes
Are now closed
Hoping she won't see

Ashley Stone

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/poor-naive-little-girl/
