In approaching equilibrium <br />I have since found <br />the difference between us <br />so infinitesimally small <br />as to overcome all entropy. <br /> <br />And in measuring with precision <br />if not accuracy <br />the frequencies of our heartbeats <br />appear so similar <br />as to be a beat itself. <br /> <br />And I discover that <br />this mirror’s image <br />though strange and unfamiliar <br />is real nonetheless <br />light bent but not broken. <br /> <br />And if our two pelts <br />seem at first too different <br />still I am not afraid <br />for it is your skin that reflects the light <br />which my skin then absorbs <br /> <br />I find you aligned <br />oppositely and yet <br />magnetic <br />invisible lines so strong <br />no space remains between us <br /> <br />Because <br />I believe <br />it is only through <br />the superposition of our courage <br />the coherence of our thoughts <br />and the attraction of opposing hearts <br />that we shall <br />in time <br />achieve Universal Gravitation...<br /><br />Aliya Deri<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/universal-gravitation/
