I put on a black opaque veil <br />to block out all the hallucinations. <br />Within my mind, I look instead <br />at the truly happy things <br />and the people who truly <br />love me. <br />Sometimes, though, I cannot help <br />but lift a corner of the headdress <br />and sneak a peek at your face. <br />But I always feel so guilty, like <br />a voyeur, a peeping tom, <br />even though I know there's <br />really nothing wrong.
