Just six months ago <br />He was sent back to Iraq <br />She just sits back waiting <br />For him to come on back <br /> <br />They're both full of courage and respect <br />And blessed with so much love <br />And it shows this time of year <br />Just how it was sent from above <br /> <br />She is big and pregnant <br />Do to have the baby most anytime <br />If her man could just be there with her <br />It would make it such a better time <br /> <br />Now wouldn't you know it <br />It soon becomes Christmas eve <br />And that night she goes into labor <br />She calls for help, then begins to greive <br /> <br />Just a little past midnight <br />She has a bouncing baby boy <br />And her first time of holding him <br />Just fills her heart with joy <br /> <br />Her husband makes it back in town <br />At just the last minute <br />And makes it to the hospital <br />And sees his baby being born in it <br /> <br />They name their baby Jesus <br />After our saviour born so long ago <br />Through their love and respect <br />And they want the world to know <br /> <br />What she didn't know though <br />An Angel was by her side the whole night <br />Watching her every move <br />Making sure everything went alright <br /> <br />They may not know how they've been blessed <br />To have a baby named Jesus again <br />Who realy knows, He might be the one <br />To free this world of its corruption and sin <br /> <br />wrote 12/22/2008 by Norman Hale Jr.<br /><br />norman hale<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/christmas-baby/
