Here I sit in this corner fist clenched in rage <br />Duly convicted trapped in this cage <br />Locked away here in this eight by eight cell <br />Another day spent in this man made hell <br /> <br />Waiting for a decision trapped in this pen <br />The bailiff takes me before the jury the verdict is in <br />Have you reached a decision asked the man in black <br />We have your honor it was a premeditated attack <br /> <br />Guilty was the verdict as read by the man on the end <br />As I stared him in the eyes and began to grin <br />When the gavel came down the judge ruled without affection <br />Death was the sentence to be carried out by lethal injection <br /> <br />As I sat on death row I could still hear your voice <br />Nagging and bitching and laughing at my choice <br />You even haunted my dreams with that knife in your chest <br />Still I was relentless I was never gonna confess <br /> <br />As I am walked from my cell on this my last journey <br />Spread eagle arms and legs strapped firmly to the gurney <br />This is the point where most men go insane <br />I just lay there silently as the needle was placed in my vein <br /> <br />Silently I stared at what once was and angry mob <br />I closed my eyes in blissful sleep as the morphine did its job <br />As I awaken on the other side I knew I had be cast into hell <br />For there I found my self alone in a room with no doors and you were there as well<br /><br />Poison 9901<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/breaking-point-the-verdict/
