What you once were you certainly are no more, <br />I thought you were special, <br />someone I truly would adore. <br />I thought I could trust and talk to you, <br />I thought we had a friendship that was <br />honest and true? <br /> <br />I thought you were a friend who's ear <br />I could rattle and bend, <br />I thought you were the kind of friend who always had <br />a helping hand to lend? <br /> <br />Now look at the type of friend you turned out to be, <br />your harboring deceit was right there <br />before my eyes, but my trusting eyes just <br />would not allow me to see, <br />what ever happened to that good-natured person <br />you used to be? <br /> <br />Slowly I have since took the time, <br />I have dolefully made up my mind, <br />with courage I have taken a few steps <br />forward I have now left your thoughtless, <br />'unrighteous' friendship behind.<br /><br />Linda I.
