Did you know I’m miserable <br />Behind these brown-green eyes? <br />My skinny frame with dried up tears <br />Even though I claim I never cry. <br />Did you know I hate you <br />With a passion of defeat? <br />I cry every night because <br />You cuss, throw, and beat. <br />Did you know you’re not my hero? <br />How could I after what you’ve done. <br />You can push and hit me around, <br />But you’re only proud of you’re sons. <br />Did you know I’m you’re daughter? <br />I’m not perfect like my brothers, <br />I try my hardest to please you <br />But we just hate one another. <br />Will you lay me in my tomb? <br />Will you beat my brothers too? <br />Will I be just another mouth to feed? <br />Will you spare me from you’re deed? <br />I guess one things for sure <br />Something I’ve never said before, <br />Get the hell away from me, <br />You sick and twisted horror. <br />But I guess one thing you’ll answer “yes” <br />Is a small question without a slur, <br />Get the camera out so the world can hear me say, <br />“Can I be you’re failure? ”<br /><br />Kelsey Joe<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/can-i-be-your-failure/
